FAQ

WHEN IS ORIGINAL ARTWORK RELEASED?

I try release multiple collections per year and a few one-offs for my subscribers. You can subscribe to my email list at the footer of this page to receive news of original work, previews, stories, and early access to shop. I also update my Instagram account regularly— feel free to follow along @heritageartandgoods for updates along the way!

WHAT PAINT DO YOU USE?

While I enjoy many mediums, my miniatures are painted with acrylics, sometimes mixed with clear gesso or chalk dust. Once the painting is completed, it is carefully varnished to help protect from dust, dirt, and pollutants.

WHY MINIATURE PAINTINGS?

While renovating our 1976 Avion Travelcader, I wanted the space to feel homey but not overcrowded. I struggled to find pieces of original artwork that seamlessly fit our space and told stories. Likewise, a tiny home is not conducive to larger paintings. I started sketching during our travels, and fell in love with miniatures. They may be small, but each piece is carefully crafted & released with poetry meant to inspire and cause reflection on human experiences we have with nature.

DO YOU ACCEPT COMMISSIONS OF ORIGINAL ARTWORK?

I am not currently taking commissions. The freedom to create what I am inspired by allows me to explore and expand my personal style for the time being.

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?

All original artwork are final sale. While I do not accept returns, I want you to be pleased with your purchase! Please let me know if there is any way I can help you by contacting me within 3 days of receiving your order.

WHO OWNS THE RIGHTS TO YOUR ARTWORK AND POETRY?

All rights to the artwork & poetry are owned by Laura Van Moorleghem, owner of Heritage Art & Goods, including the right to make reproductions. The collector may not reproduce or distribute the artwork in any way.
